But do you think it would be beneficial to drop teams only to add more? In my opinion relocation makes a lot more sense, as that way you at least have a little bit of a core to build upon, opposed to absolutely nothing with an expansion team...
It is not the best way of going about it but I thought it could be a way to get rid of some of the owners that are only at it to make money and not about winning.

If you do that, Dallas will be the first team to go. Why would you want that?

Jerry wants to win and will do what ever it takes to win. He thought he could make a winning team himself but found out he was wrong and paid big money to BP so that he could build a winner. Jerry has never had a problem with paying out big money to get what ever players he thought would help the team, execpt to LBs. The fact that he can make a lot of money also just adds to his ablity to sign players.
The teams I was talking about were ones like the Saints and the 49ers that dont seem to care what type of team they have unless it will help them get a new stadium.

Finacially, I don't think it would be good to drop teams, even in cities where the NFL teams suck, the NFL games bring in pretty good revenue.
On further expansion: I think the NFL really needs to be careful about overexpanding like the MLB did in the 90's (Colorado Rockies, Arizona D - back, Florida Marlins, Tampa Bay D - Rays). As I'm sure most of you know after their over expansion MLB was almost forced to contract the Twins or Expos (now the Nationals). I would really hate for the NFL to get into that sort of mess.

I don't see that happening. I only suggested adding 8 teams because it would keep divisions even like they are now. Obviously though, you couldn't add them all the same year.
Plus, who would want to watch a NFL minor league team play?
An NFL minors could be put into towns like Portland, OR; Omaha, NB; Sacramento, CA; Richmond, VA; Witchita, KS; Columbus, OH; Louisville, KY; Montgomery, AL; Baton Rouge, LA; Santa Fe, NM; Honolulu, HW
Thats just 11 cities that arn't quite big enough for an NFL team they could be just perfect for a NFL minor leauge. I think you could get a huge following in these types of towns.
Central: Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans
South: Birmingham Outlaws, Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Antonio Gunslingers
West: Los Angeles Knights, Oakland Raiders, Salt Lake Sidewinders, San Diego Chargers
NFC
East: New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Virginia Beach Hammerheads, Washington Warriors
North: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings
Central: Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Vultures, Omaha Tornadoes, St. Louis Rams
South: Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
West: Arizona Cardinals, Portland Wolves, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks
To avoid confusion, that's Birmingham, Alabama; Los Angeles, California; San Antonio, Texas; Omaha, Nebraska; Portland, Oregon; Salt Lake City, Utah; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Listen, the idea is ok, but you can't break up the AFC west, Chiefs Radiers Broncos and Chargers are all big rivals. Plus what if KC and OAK didn't get to play agianst one another. That would be like no X-mas
