i looked at Moores stats and to me he seemed liked a Reggie Bush type a back, a reciever in a RBs body. then i remember how beastly Thomas was, this guy took the Bills to SuperBowls with less talent than what Moore had. Moore had a TD in 18 straight games which is nice but Thomas led the league in yards from scrimmage 4 years running, plus he won an MVP, easy pick for me

Thomas but it is a pretty close one. Thomas's numbers are just so much better overall, his rushing yards alone are almost as much as Moore's total yards. Moore does have the overall TD and fumble advantage, but when you factor in an MVP and the way Thurman carried the Bills to the SB time after time(only to lose them all) I had to go with him.

Tough to compare them, but Thomas hands down.

Some tough matchups here. I don't think MVPs were around when Moore played but he was a member of the 1950's All decade team.
I remember watching Thomas many times. Unfortunatly he was a member of the 4 consecutive time losing SB Bills, but they were there 4 years in a row also which is a major accomplishment by anyones standards.

TT.

Although Moore was one of the first real two way threats, i still like TT better.

Thomas was medicore in the passing game. Moore was a beast. the dude was a pioneer for receiving backs. Played in less games and scored almost 30 more TD's than Thomas. Thomas was the ground game for the successful Bill's teams. Winning teams have good ground games that gain yards. Dude was never a game changer and only really had one real chance at a superbowl when norwood choked hard. Thomas was an awesome back that pounded defenses, but Moore was one of the best of his time and Thomas was never really higher than top 5 maybe.
