The food and drinks are fit for kings, the view is top notch. Sky boxes have become all the rage at pro stadiums but this isn't the Georgia Dome, and it's not Turner Field either. Welcome to Vidalia high school, home of the Indians.
"When you have a class program you get some class facilities," says Indians fan Bucky Kennedy. "These people around here in the city and the county have done a tremendous job with this place."
"It started off as a joke really," remembers Vidalia Principal Mitch Harrington. "You see over my left shoulder here behind me there is a huge green tank; me and my superintendent were out here joking about putting seats up there because it is such a great view."
The viewing boxes are just the cherry on top of this sundae of a field house. The crown jewel in the center of a second-to-none sports complex it was built in two levels. The students will be restrained to the bottom level which holds the varsity football locker room on one end and on the other end is the girl's locker room. Well lit and spacious with lockers big enough for some players to stand in these rooms out class most colleges.
