FOXBORO - Stopping LaDainian Tomlinson the running back is hard enough. But the Patriots may have even greater concerns with LT the receiver tomorrow.
Should Tomlinson find his running lanes clogged against the NFL’s fifth-best rushing defense, he always can fall back on a skill that made him San Diego’s second-leading receiver this season (56 catches, 508 yards, three tounchdowns).
“He’s a problem all the way around,” Patriots safety Artrell Hawkins said. “He can run it and catch it at such a high level. He can throw it, too. You’re not going to find a more well-rounded or explosive player who presents more problems for a defense than LaDainian Tomlinson.
