I don't think so. You always want to return it, if you jsut drop down because your afraid of turnovers your going to go nowwhere.

well considering it was 4th down there never should have been an interception. A knowledgable defender would have batted it down. But im not complaining

Very true, but this is the Chargers they spent the whole season getting interceptions on fourth down to help their Pro Bowl stats, thats why they lost.

I'm not taking anything away from the Patriots because they were the better team today, but San Diego beat themselves. One unneccesary roughness penalty after the Chargers stopped NE on 3rd down and another penalty after the last SD TD which made them kick off from their own 15. It hurts me to say this but NE kept their cool when they needed to and made the plays when it counted.

That really sums up the game. Both sides made mistakes. The Chargers let them stay in and Brady being Brady won it

Chargers is the NFL poster boy for overhyped teams, they look big and bad in the stats, but deep down they were a paper dragon. They have LT, but the coach and team sucks.
