SAN DIEGO ---- If the front-office big-shots don't smooch, might the Chargers turn to Mooch?

There was nothing new Tuesday in regards to Marty Schottenheimer coaching general manager A.J. Smith's squad next season. While Schottenheimer is signed, team president Dean Spanos hasn't signed off on Schottenheimer's San Diego employment.

i dont know about this one, i prefer Norm Chow myself, or Cam Cameron if Marty does indeed leave/get fired.

What about Wade Phillips

I live near Buffalo and thought he did a great job when he was the Bills coach. His downfall their was botching the Flutie /Johnson controversy, and that wont be an issue in SD.

Wade Phillips wouldnt be bad but from what ive been reading he might leave if Marty leaves.

Too bad for Dallas Shottenheimer's staying. Altho I dobt they would have brought Wade in, he's the #1 guy I wanted working on the most vanilla 3-4 in the history of football. Bill Parscells and company need to realize that in textbook english the word Demarcus Ware isnt a synonym of the word pass-rush.
