Although Matt Wilhelm is entering his fifth season, most people never have heard of him. Those that have think of him mostly as a special teams player. Well, '07 will be his time. Signed to a five-year contract in December, he takes over for Donnie Edwards at inside linebacker. Wilhelm is fast and a hard hitter. It will take him a while to master the intricacies of the position, and it remains to be seen if he will ever have the instincts that made Edwards one of the best coverage linebackers in the league.
