In case you haven't heard, the Chargers are the only team in the league that doesn't have a quarterback who has started an NFL game.
And in case you didn't know, the front office is trying to change that.
Sources familiar with the situation said the Chargers were one of two finalists in the running to sign veteran signal-caller Kerry Collins, the 12th-year pro who was released by the Raiders in the offseason.
San Diego was nosed out at the tape when Tennessee offered something San Diego would not, namely a chance for playing time. But the story doesn't end there.
