Also, I wouldn't say the better team won, I thought both teams played well, but with our offensive talent, I would give us the edge. However, I might have to notch that down because of the play calling. We'll see later in the year because we haven't been down in a game yet, sans the last 32 seconds of the game on Sunday.

But look at it this way...it was a good game played all the way down to the end. Both the teams made mistakes, SD not sealing the game, and Baltimore not getting their offensive push. I thought SD had sealed the deal, but McNair and the offense made a last, effective play. So, technically, no one lost. If SD can work on what they learned in this game, I believe that they could take out the Steelers.

we have an idiot head coach and as long as he is in command we will lose more games like this. "Marty Ball" doesnt work too well if your only trying to protect a one score lead. he needs to put the ball in Rivers hands and let him make some decisions. he isnt a rookie Marty for crying out loud!

You should appreciate the rare talent that you have, and not say it was a team effort.

Till.Death - The only thing similar between our two games was that we lost. We aren't really sure how you feel because we can win every game we play this year, but anything certainly does happen on Sunday. On the opposite end of the spectrum is the Raiders, who can't be the St. Mary's HS women's field hockey team.
GoBolts, all I was doing is giving my opinion on the game and giving my take on P-Rez's post. This thread has nothing to do with the Raiders so I see no reason to take shots at me that way. If you're gonna get all feelings about posts that are not to your reading pleasure, don't answer them. Or look me up in the smacktalk forum where we can go at it.(without breaking any rules of course)

C'mon P, admit that the better team won yesterday. Sure this game should have been won by the Chargers, but the Chargers made mistakes, and at the end, they couldn't close the deal. And much of the lost has got to fall on the shoulders of your coach.
they was better for 2 minutes and thats about it. but those 2 minutes was the ones that counted. im over it. im ready for Pittsburgh Sunday night.

HiYa Guys ~ I'm the new pain in the butt here so I'll try not to make any enemies to quickly I've read each Post and I can't figure out how come nobody is at least throwing Shawne Merriman #56 2nd year LB, Under the Bus? If he wasn't so busy doing his spin dance while trying to tackle, you SD Screamers could have had a better chance to stop them.

I mean where was Shaun Phillips when you needed him ? And now this big gorilla is injured. Did he bruise his toe on that play Heck if you don't want to use Phillips, send him down to Dallas and we'll find a spot for him. We'll give you Singleton for him, no I didn't say Singletary

Phillips has performed quite well for us after he took over Foley's position. All the chips seem to be falling into place.

Can't argue with you there. The Chargers are looking very good. If it weren't for Charger fans I would like the Chargers.
