CHULA VISTA – Environmentalists blasted a plan to build a $1 billion Chargers stadium on the Chula Vista bayfront, saying it would wreak havoc on sensitive wetlands and bird nesting habitat nearby and shatter the tranquillity of west-side neighborhoods.

seriously, they just want a stadium because the Padres got PetCo park, that would be a travesty on the environment
