Chargers star LaDainian Tomlinson, appearing as a guest on FSN's "Best Damn Sports Show Period," on how much longer he'll play: "I don't know if in five years I'll still be playing. I want to fulfill my contract with the Chargers and that's about four more years."

I don't know... any running back who's met Earl Campbell starts to think about retiring before they end up like Earl who's can hardly walk with a cane now a days.

I think, in a way, it's a message to the Chargers. Tandem backfields have become part of today's game, and can extend the careers of RBs. If they found someone else to take some of the pounding, he'll probably play longer.

Definetly. Too bad they let Turner go, but he was going to cost too much as a back up. They need to get another back. Alexander could be interesting (even though he sucks) he'd have another great line.
