OK, so I understand the reasons behind drafting a LB .. but Larry English when you have a Rey Maualuga available.....I'm alittle concerned, but this has to be our year....

Agreed that it would've been better to take Rey, but I think English will be fine playing alongside Shaun Phillips & Shawn Merriman (hopefully healthy). The defense will get back to how it was playing a couple of years ago. Last season was a fluke.

I can't wait to see how the Chargers do this season. I know they're better than an 8-8 team, and they will show that this season. The AFC West title is theirs to lose. I just hope they set loftier goals.
