I don't think he ends up being beat up at all...

I doubt they'll put him out there in pre-season to run the option. So he won't get dinged in the preseason... Could happen, but I doubt it.

After that, durring the season, that could happen to anyone at any time so it isn't a defined option... Flip a coin on that one, but if you're thinking this will happen because of the option or the fact that he likes to run, he hasn't really been touched when he scrambles. Mainly because he reads the give great! He only keeps if he has a lane... Again, beauty of the option. It isn't a broken play where a guy can get rocked, it's a planned run with blocking that's made to run the play...

Any Qb is a target for huge hit and injuries. I dont expect to see him injured however. He knows how to run with the ball and is smart. I think the poll should be made for Vick.

Agreed... There really should be an choice for "The season"... They're basically two options saying that he's gonna get hurt... So they're saying the same thing.

I think it's the purpose of the thread... Conflict breeds post counts.

That being said, I'll claim some of the blame for this one... I was bugging SH about how terrible the Jags are... Now he hates teams that show potential.
