Yeah but when you get 2 in the top 22 IMO that's better for them then 3 in the top 86 I believe it was...JMO.

first off it was 3 in 68 and 4 in 100 (6,37,68,100) and now they go for 3 in 100 (6,22,100)
is 15 slots from the second to the first worth losing #68 altogether.
it's a crapshoot, but there would have been some good LB's at 37 and 68 would have gotten a better player than 100, but ya never know.

I think that was their biggest concern, after losing both starting LBers you can't take the chance on guys that "maybe" there...at 22 one will be there for sure IMO.

i say that definitely there would be a good LB at 37, and they would have 68 and 100 to look forward too, now they pick at 22 and watch 78 guys get picked before they pick again.

Depends on what you see as good...Bobby Carpenter good? Not a chance...now between the 7th and 10th best Lber good maybe...but that IMO isn't saying much.

i think that Lawson, Thomas Howard, Dqwell jackson, even abdul hodge would all be avialable at 37. Maybe even greenway could slip
the only guys they miss out on going from 22 to 37 would be carpenter, ryans, and maybe greenway.
Thomas Howard and Manny Lawson would be fine.

That's what I said, LBers ranked about 7-10 would be there and not a one of them you named are 3-4 LBers....

manny lawson would fit into the 3-4 well he can play LB or DE, he would fit nicely into a 3-4, IMO

and, IMO, the drop off from carpenter to lawson isn't as much of a dropoff of players from 22 to 100, but that's JMO

49ers 1st round draft picks have been so greet in recient years. J.J. Stokes Jim Druckenmiller R.W. McQuarters Reggie McGrew Julian Peterson Andre Carter Mike Rumph Kwame Harris Rashaun Woods Alex Smith. Aside from petterson NON of them have lived up to expectations. and only two of them are with the team.
