That's the PASTthis is the PRESENT buddy. No ones gonna care or remember about that. I already forgot. The fans dont care what they were producing before, they want somethin to happen now. If you knew somethin about football, you'd know that. If they won five superbowls why the hell cant they win a game now. Cuz they messed up their franchise. I'll be suprised if they even when a game this yr. And if they do win a game the other team will probally be sleeping or dead or somethin. I mean I wouldnt go to their game and be like "hey did u remember that superbowl we won"

every team has its "lean years" but to say that 49ers are dead is wrong. They have a **** team now, but the way the NFL is now, a few bounces their way and they are back in the playoffs. Look at the Bears last year they were supposed to one of the worst teams in the NFL and all of a sudden became legit contenders. Two years ago the Steelers went from 6-10 to 15-1. You really never know

The Lions are gonna be better than the Raiders and Packers put together. The Packers have a 50 yr old QB and the Raiders only got Randy. It dont matter if their historic it matters wat their doing now.

And what do the Lions have? An unproven RB, two qb's that haven't really lead a team before and a below average defense. The Lions are not the great team you make them out to be.

Teams with strong tradition bring in more revenue. Teams like 49ers,cowboys steelers,broncos, skins, raiders,packers,bears, just to name a few will move merchendice no matter how much they suck

zee, your logic is flawed, they are a very young team and just becuase a team is bad for a few years you cannot write them off, you will realize this when you have been a fan for longer than a few years. Being a detroit fan you have got to be impatient, but you should also realize that losing seasons should not relegate a team to DIE, you shouldn't be so harsh. by your logic the lions should have been disbanded years ago.
