It's a well known fact if the 49ers lost to the packers in that game, Mariucci would've been fired like 3 years sooner. Then, the 49ers would've had a better coach, but no. We wait 3 years something like that to fire Mariucci, hire a loser that flushed the team down the toilet for 2 years, and instead of fixing the team 5 years sooner like, it's today where I agree there is hope, but I also been burned before by having some hope.

to be on your guard is it? I can say all I want this team could win, go to the playoffs, but then in reality, we wind up losing and let teams we should've beat win over us.
5 years ago, I would've been happy had we lost to the Packers and then picked up some better talent that time the team was declining. There was talent back then that we missed out on.
That's why I ask what is ownership doing if they let the 49ers fall like this? Eddie D had the solutions, but now we have to leave them up to John York, and I don't like them thus far, except the draft and FA, I'm OK so far, but I want to see as part of our season, we beat some really big teams. Don't say when we beat the Rams 'yahoo, we beat the Rams, kick the living **** out of them, God is good to me'. No, I want my win to come against a big team, say Seattle, Green Bay, Chicago, Denver, Kansas City, see those are big teams that I feel the 49ers need to focus on, not the peanut gallery teams.
