For some reason Derek Smith has some kind of spell on Nolan. Why he continues to be on the team and start is beyond me. My only hope now is the nearly hired DC Manusky shows a tape comparison of Donnie Edwards, Randall Godfrey as compared to Derek Smith... and shows Nolan the light. D. Smith has to go.

And on a brighter note... the Maicco says the team is shopping Kwame Harris.... hope some poor sucker takes him. What's the # to the Redskins FO.. they are good at taking our trash.

Even I knew K Harris was being shopped around, it was in the Chronicle. Man, I am beating you all back with a stick aren't I? You just don't surprise me anymore.

Let's assume we don't make another move in FA... We really don't have that many holes to fill anymore...

We don't need a CB...
We don't need a S....
We don't need a NT/DT
We don't need a Center, OG, or LT (although in the later rounds we should try and grab projects for the future)
We don't need a QB
We don't need a RB
We don't need a TE
We don't really need an OLB (assuming Lawson and Banta-Cain start, with Haralson and Green backing up)
We don't need a FB
Usually when we go into a draft and people project who we are going to take based on the positions we need filled it's like CB, S, LB, DT, DE, QB, RB, OT, OG, C, WR

It's nice knowing we really only need

ILB, WR, and maybe DE. Can you guys think of anything else we need?

If we were somehow able to draft Patrick Willis and then trade up from the 2nd to the first with all those picks we have, ala last year and take Meachem, Bowe, or Rice... and then take a DE in the 3rd....

The rest of our gazillion picks could be used to focus on quality depth across the board.

This is an exciting freaking time to be a Niners fan.

1st off - PLEASE make your damn Baseball pick in the draft

2nd. We signed Banta-Cain and Franklin to be starters. We aren't paying them that kind of money to be backups..

Gee, I was reading in the Examiner today that Clements might be backing up Spencer. I guess Glenn Dickey must be misinformed but man, pay Clements 80 million and he's backing up Spencer?

Mel Kiper: They have a lot of picks and have already done a lot of good things. Nate Clements. Out of all the free agents this year and you look at what Clements was able to do, he has everything you look for. In his career, he has 23 INTs and 13 fumbles. He's a game-changing corner. He's big time. To add a guy like that is a big, big help. Banta-Cain at LB gives them ability there. He had 5.5 sacks last year - that was more sacks than he had in his first three seasons combined. He's an interesting guy. Then you look at Franklin, who Nolan knew about when he was in Baltimore. Lewis, they added at safety. What they've done now is put WR at the top of the need list.

If you quit siding with DHNF and Steady, I got some great intelligent knowledge. All you have to do is stop doing this and and and if you can sit down with me and do I can tell you why I feel these deals are good, or bad based on HONESTY.

That is the only thing I am saying to you right now, do not side with Steady or DHNF, they are bull**** artists. They make up one lie after another and proclaim a Superbowl each ****ing year, and then they go no big deal we had a bad season. SEe, what kind of reaction is that?
