Barring injury, he will earn every cent. He is going to revolutionize the position like people thought Shockey would.

We got him in camp on time, locked for 5 years, and we got him in a great mood now that he's one rich *****. I'm happy, I could care less it's not like I'm paying the bill.

The Raiders signed Huff, who was picked right after Davis, before we could sign Davis. Blame them for setting the bar so god damn high. And it doesn't even matter, VD is a stud. The only way i can vision him busting is a Kellen Winslow Jr.-esque first 2 years.

Oh, and Bush's contract could make him the highest paid RB in the NFL. Where's the *****y for that?

I love this ****ing guy. It's going to be real hard for this guy not to become one of the top 3 TEs in the game. I expect he'll be a force immediately.

First off, aren't you a Browns fan? THE BROWNS?? lmao..Aren't you the fools that saw how sorry Jeff Garcia was, and once we let him go, snatched him up, while tossing out a big DUH??

"So many predicted"? Idiot fans don't count. Show me some links to someone credible. You won't, because you can't.

When Smith shines this year, your sorryass will be all but gone.

After all, you're a Brown fan. When are you NOT gone?

OK, let me prove you wrong on all points.

Yes, I am a Browns fan. This does mean that I root for a better football team than the one you've got, so shut the **** up. And if you talk to anyone on this board who isn't a ****ing newb like yourself, you'd know I was the first to disagree with the Garcia signing. I actually wanted McCown to start as a rookie over that piece of ****. I was also the first to start the "FIRE BUTCH DAVIS" campaign. So you can shut the **** up about that.

Secondly, coming out of college Tim Couch had two things going for him. He had an arm, and he had faced tough competition on the college level, two things Alex Smith lacked. Tim Couch turned out a bust, while many thought he'd be great. Alex Smith was drafted first overall in a class that many GMs tabbed Aaron Rodgers the top QB, who was taken 24th overall. Had you watched the draft, you'd have heard all about this. Give me one good reason Alex Smith can be a successful QB in the NFL. He sure hasn't shown so much as flashes yet. Charlie Frye has even shown flashes, and he was a 3rd rounder.

Oh, and aren't you the guys that gave us Ken Dorsey, who has thrown more career TDs than Alex Smith (not that it's hard, so has Antwaan Randle El, Tim Couch, Ryan Leaf...) for a washed up veteran who proved he can't do **** anymore?

IF Smith shines this year, you come back and talk to me. Then i'll be proven wrong. Until then, it's just your opinion against my facts.

I'm not gone because I enjoy watching my team get more than 4 wins.

Back on subject, I think Vernon Davis has more going for him than Kellen Winslow did coming out of college. He's more of a freak. You can't compare Davis to anyone, he's one of those guys who you're gonna end up comparing top prospects to in 20 years.

The first post was just plain stupid. The 2nd I agree with. You're like a Jeckyll and Hyde of stupidity/credibility.

No apologies necessary.

Your team is a joke and has been for decades. Draft, no draft, you still seem to redefine the term "we suck".

Yeah, lmao..I'll go "talk to someone and ask' did that **** for brains Brown fan want Garcia"? Ok, I lied, I won't ask. Instead I'll watch you state stupid crap, and then try and backtrack. Point is we fired his ***. Point is your sorry team looked at him AS AN IMPROVEMENT

I could, but I won't. Who the hell cares about anyone stating to fire butch davis? Are you confused? Do you just ramble on and on, and hope someone is confused in that somewhere that might apply? They aren't. It doesn't. It appears maybe it's YOU that should just shut the **** up. You'll get hurt less that way.

Again, see above about you "shutting up before you hurt yourself". NO ONE dubbed Rodgers above, or even close. Reporters tossed it out, Niners had NOTHING in reply except 'we're talking to everyone". You're a friggin idiot if you think ANYONE thought Rodgers was top. Niners sure as hell didn't. What the Niners did was not commit to anything to reporters. Of course, the point here is it appears your rambling again, all over the place, as you did above, hoping something sticks. So far you're not doing to well. See Gorilla Glue, could help.
You should read up before you open ***, insert head.
My money says all you'll come back with is "1 td, 11 picks"..THAT'S IT. Smith was thrown in playing behind a O line that had 100% backups in position, and that didn't change for one game. He was running for his life every play. Only an idiot would state 'well, he didn't do well". NO qb in the league would have done well behind that line last year..however, on to your request. I would say a 12 of 13 performance in the first half against the Rams, for 140+ yds, even behind that line, to go into the end of the year is called progress. It won't matter at this point that Smith has come off the field and pointed out "can't force the ball into double coverage" and then not done it again, or "have to learn to not try and make the big play..throw it away" as areas almost EVERY rookie qb has to learn as indicative of anything except you being confused.
YOU made the head up *** comment "Whereas Alex Smith will complete his destiny as one of the worst first overall picks EVER, like so many predicted.

Dude wasn't even as highly touted as Tim Couch coming of of college."
No one predicted ****, only head up *** posters like you. What everyone predicts is rookie qb's will struggle behind a good line. Behind a bad line, EVERY qb struggles. Leave it to you to not be able to figure out even simple things. Like I said, your sorryass will be conveniently gone from any thread about Alex Smith when he does well..that's a guarantee. Tools and fools always whimper off, pleading ignorance later. You seem to have that "ignorance" part down pat.

Only fact you stated is your sorry team signed out reject qb, and that you threw a hissy fit when it happened. Other than that, you've only proved you like to ramble on, saying nothing.

Don't worry. During the season I'll find you on the Browns section, licking your wounds, reminding you of your dumber than cotton statements here.
