Well thanx Coach! But forgive me if I don't agree.
I think he is figuring out Defenses, and he will get better.
As teams learn,he is also learning.
And remember I told you this.

That's cool not agree! Vick is running out of time wheter you argue he's been in the league for six, or argue the point that it's really only four in maturity because he skipped out on two years of college. Vick's time is running short. I hope you're right about him, it would be great to see him mature into the passer we all thought he could be, but I'm not seeing it!

No we were talking about running QBs,not Qbs that had fat, slow defenders chasing him around in circles.
But if we were talking about that ,Tarkington was the best.

Defenses are faster these days but props have to be given to Fran Tarkenton he was at one moment the NFL's all time passing leader and was one of the first to allow for more QB's like him that didn't stay in the pocket. Tarkenton is a HOF QB for a reason!

And that has _______ to do with Vick being an overated career ending injury waiting to happen?
[/b]
And that seems to be your personally opinion or your wishes.
I have been hearing that for the last 5 years.

No what I argue is that Vick has a better winning % than any QB in falcon history,
and no QB has every been put down as much as he.
And you said it would be great to see him mature, you lie!
that you hope never happens, and I know why.

Michael Vick will never be the QB Frank Tarkenton was.

Will Eli?or is this the put down Vick only thread,as always.
I don't have a crystal ball like you,MR.all knowing.
I never said Vick was better, just said which I'd prefer,
When talking about running QB's.
When Vick's career is over,we will total up the rushing yards.
My money is on Vick................ imp:" class="inlineimg" />

Duckett is a big powerful guy but the dude had 380 yrds last year. Lelie is a better player than Duckett and worth more than a #3. The Falcons made out IMO.

Lelie did lead the league in yrds per catch last year. He is an up and coming guy with talent.

Now... I'm not going to argue the Vick can't throw ****. He sucks.

There is nothing wrong with a scrambler at QB. Yes McNabb was/is, so is Culpeper. The difference between Culpeper and McNabb is that they can accuartely hit a moving target down the field, Vick still has problems hitting a target that barely moves. Trust me I see more Atlanta games than I'd ever care to see. I use to believe Vick could turn out to be the QB that changed the league with his arm strength and speed, but that's all he has, he lacks the accuracy to hit targets. Randy Moss and Terrell Owens could be out there and would have a hell of a time making Vick look good. Don't get me wrong Vick's speed has saved this team and brought them many wins, but until he develops his ability as a passer in the category of accuracy, it's just not going to happen. I still hope the guy can put it together, but the more we get into this five years now and he's still not that much better of a passer than he was when he entered the league.
Vick being a 'running qb' has nothing to do with what I was refering to with his passing ability, I would like to see him progress like McNabb and Culpeper did. Not like Aaron Brooks his cousin who still has not. That's the point I was making. I would never state that a 'running qb' couldn't be a top flight passer, because one of my favorite QB's of all time Fran Tarkenton was one and I believe he put up quite a few records in his day!

Awesome
