Hey if you don't have health issues like I got Ronnie Lott, bully for you, but remember this: I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't take drugs. THe reason is STRESS, STRESS as in when your team loses. What am I supposed to do when the team loses? Don't say be a good sport because that's so unbelievable. I don't see why the way I follow the team makes me a bad fan. None of you want to point it out. Least I read about it. I spend my hard earn money on the sporting page that comes out weekly to see who the yahoos are calling the 49er games (which are all jokers by the way.) ANd what's wrong with me listening on the radio? Maybe I don't like the yahoos like this JC person or the other schmuck calling a 49er game. I think FOx and CBS have too many lackies calling the games. Radio is best for there's no sub in Starkey and Gary Plummer. THey know how to call it.

You said it! As a Raider Fan I know the peaks and valleys my team has gone through/is going through, and if any NFL organization deserves criticism it’s the Raiders. Does that stop me or any other dedicated fan from watching the game to see where the improvements are being made and areas the just plain suck (there are currently many with the Raiders right now) Hell No! Will I be a fan and stand by my team for another tens years of mediocrity, yeap. Hell it could be worse I could be a Browns fan or a Lions Fan! Vddavis84 the Rainman is stuck in an 80’s time warp and unless time happens to start going in reverse he will always be the “Rainman”. It would be hilarious if he would repeat the time he was watching a 49ers game and started throwing tatertots at the TV. He actually posted the incident a few years back on another forum.
[/b]
No wonder I got to ignore you. You must be drinking Mearlot again after that KC loss. Why do you continue to talk about yourself like this? What forum was that I allegedly posted on and who was I on that forum? I'd really like to know this, Arnie since you've been around as a Ram fan on another forum, and posing as an administrator on yet another forum. You're the bigger liar on these forums, why did you allegedly want to stalk me here?
VDavis85n'ufsaid, you will not get booted off of this message board for disagreeing with a mod here. There could be 10 mods involved in this conversation that don't feel the way that you do, but we would all allow you to express yourself. You've seemed to have stayed within the rules, so it's all good.
I'm sorry to hear about your illness last year, and I honestly hope that you are 100% right now. Football is nothing compared to so many other things in life. I wish you and yours nothing but the best.
Football is not the end all and be all of life. If anybody takes it to be so, they are a shallow person. At the same time, you aren't a 49ers player, you are a FAN. To me, it's seemed that you have lost sight of that. What is the harm in watching and rooting for them next week against the Rams? The reality of this to you, I, and other fans is that it truly is nothing but entertainment. If you think that a loss is inevitable and you don't watch when they pull off an upset, you have done yourself a disservice as a fan. Even if the Niners don't win, they have gotten better. Why not bask in that and watch the development?
As an Eagles fan, I know that my life truly isn't really affected by a game. It's entertainment. I watch the Eagles every week because I love football and supporting the team that I love. I don't agree with all Eagle fans about our team and it's direction all the time, but I love the sport and my team. I respect their opinions and don't call them out as lesser fans.
You owe nothing to other 49ers fans, but don't rip into them for being a different kind of fan than you. If they want to look at things differently than you, don't judge them. Isn't football supposed to be fun?

I'm sure when I listen to talk radio, the people that are supposedly disagreeable, I'm sure they got a life off the radio just like I got a life off the forum. I'm not some crazy nut. I just have a very strong opinion on the team. My opinion is similar to that of a Wonder Years episode: Kevin and his father take in a basketball game. The kid on the team is tall, and Kevin says his school has a chance to win that championship. But his father had a different view on what was going to happen and sure enough, KEvin's school lost the game. That's why before fans say that this game in St. Louis might be easy, sometimes the wounded team can be a dangerous team for there's still Holt and Bruce, and there's the running game to stop even if Marshall Faulk is not playing football. There's still the turf in St. Louis. ANd there's the fans. Maybe St. Louis' stadium may not be similar to the Arrow, but it's still a loud stadium. ANd when a team develops bad habits of losing games they should have won, they get a reputation. I know the writer Nancy Gay, no matter how wrong she's been on the Chronicle, is going to say the Rams will beat the 49ers.
I can go either way on this game. I want the team to win, but sometimes, reality says you might lose. I still feel at times we STILL don't quite have the players that can take us over the top. The blowouts of your team, San DIego, Kansas, and Chicago are evident that there are still some areas of concern that worry me. It began in Arizona when their WRs had their way, and St. Louis still has dangerous WRs that can have their way. But when you try to point anything out to a 49er fan, they want to argue about it and are blind to the fact. They see it as 'well, we beat the team last year, year before, we can do it again. The St. Louis team is injured, out of the playoffs, bad luck has befallen them, we're on a roll, easy street for us.' They forget that what is giveth can be taketh away. They don't want to see it. Until I see 0:00 and end of 4th quarter like I saw in our 20-14 win, I'm still going to be the Simon Cowel like judge of the 49ers until I see what is satisfaction. Beating Seattle is a good satisfaction next to MAYBE getting into the playoffs, but I'm not ready to say playoffs until week 16. I don't like to play predictions like all the yahoos do, and they get it wrong half the time.
I don't like to be pushed around, but it's also good to be able to sit down and talk to a great opposition fan such as yourself. You're one fan that doesn't go into name calling, call my family names, or say my team is this and that and on drugs. Believe me, I got about 10 years of bad fan stories to tell. I want my team to win, but it's hard after 7 years of misery and then being on death's door to see that. I was really scared in that time I was in the hospital, and the first time in 38 years that I missed a Christmas at home with my family. I couldn't even have a Christmas dinner for the doctor had to get a thorough CAT scan so my Christmas was to be bedridden and lonely. If any 49er fan finds any of this entertaining, then they are as classless as anybody who makes fun of somebody being injured. ANd the picture of the sheepdog, in the time I was sick, I live with the fact that I was mean to the animal because I was too sick to give it love when all it wanted to do was make me better. THe part that makes me very sad is by the time I got back home on New Year's, to see the end of the 49ers season against the Texans, in that game they won, my beloved dog would die 4 months later. ANd I still hurt to this day that I lost my faithful companion, and sometimes I wish I was the one that died and not the animal. All I wanted in that time I was sick on my birthday was for my team to win a big game. They finally did, and it's such a damn shame that fans calling themselves 49er fans can get their jollies teasing me because I got a different opinion when I am a human being with a damn different opinion about the team, and it's not the end of the world to hear some stupid reality. I think the team is close, but we still need some damn fixes on our defense and some depth on offense to even be a contender.
Since there is no more football in my neighborhood on Sundays now, now I can watch the team on TV. And I do have a 49er friend that does share some of my opinions on the team. Dawkins to you for being a damn good friend right now. You're a good man, and I wish others would learn that from you. I hope next year 49ers on Prime Time, but not ESPN. I still feel MNF was better on ABC. And best of luck with McNabb, I hate losing to the Eagles, but you got a terrific QB on the Eagles team.
Yeah VDavis is so quick to rip all over the team and says how he doesnt wanna watch until we are good that he is missing the progression of the new players like Gore, Alex Smith, etc.... I hate fairweather fans like him that wont put in the time to see them lose and struggle in their quest to put a face on the team. I watch them every week even if they lose cuz I am a Niner fan, good or bad I always stick with them. Guys like VDavis wanna enjoy it after they start winning like they have been behind the team the whole time. **** VDavis he's a ***** and not a true Niner fan IMHO.

First off, Steady, I don't know how long this site has been up. The first site I ever went to was Bayinsider, but then trolls and other *******s came on and ****ed up a good 49er site that was on it and drove off 49er fans. OTher forums had the same thing in *******s with nothing better to do. Then people like you with the rich boy attitude dictate to me how I got to behave and root for the team and be a good sport. Then you question my patriotism on the team and get on my case when I don't watch the team on TV or attend a game. FIrst off, I don't want to put a debt on my credit card. I'm having struggles making sure I got money on it and NOT to dip in the account for spending money. I got to live on near starvation diets because rent comes first. See, that's why I don't like to talk about myself like this, but at the same time, I want to straighten out a few things and to stop the unfounded lies.
You're a liar when you say that I haven't seen the struggles of the team. Well I have. You want to know my reaction? I yell at the family. I get mad. I nearly kicked the dog when he was alive. I didn't want to talk to nobody for a week. Does any of this make you satisfied? DOes it make you proud that I nearly went to jail each time the 49ers struggled and I was near ANger Management? Does it make you happy that I had the temptation to fling my TV out the window, and pay over 200 bucks to put a new window in next to getting a new TV? DOes it give you a thrill that I was sick last year, I nearly died, and maybe I'm taking a look at my life, and part of it is if my team is struggling, not trying, why endure the stress? Why put myself to have a heart attack? IT's not fun if something is hurting you, yet you claim that I got no endurance or faith. Well pal, it's easier to ride your bike 20 miles a day then it is to watch your team struggle and look anemic.
I watch the team my way, and I don't give a flying **** anymore what you think or what you say. You can insult me, I don't give a **** about it anymore. I came on to make a few friends, but if you want to be an ******* to me, I'll be more then happy to be one to you. I'll say what I want and feel like about the team. I am the Simon COwell like judge and I don't give a **** what you think. I got my own way of feeling proud of the team. I don't do stupid things like you do and say golly gee, we beat a team. Golly gee, we are good again. Golly gee, John YOrk is God. Golly gee, we're doing great. Well golly gee, you seem to forget what you have done for 7 years, and that's why I question who you are as a fan. That's why I question your faithfulness when you are blind to the fact of the failings of this team. You accept failure on the 49ers, I don't. I"ll never accept failure on this team.
Until you learn to treat me with respect, this is what you will get every week until the season ends. You don't want to listen, then I got 2 words for ya:
SUCK IT!
I don't know what the difference is in listening to a game on the radio then to see it on the TV. See, a radio costs 20 bucks to destroy, a TV costs over 100.
You are a psycho if you destroy things because the Niners lost. I would never kick or hurt any living thing because of a game. Maybe you should go to a mental health message board and work out your problems. You went to jail, destroyed your own belongings, kicked your dog all over the Niners losing. Another thing VD, I am not a rich boy, I'm 29 years old, live on my own, have an ok job that I make fairly decent money at, plus I still go to school so I can make more money than I currently do. I'm middle class. Don't hate on me cuz your life blows and you have to ride a bike to work.

Because there would be a sequel to Anger Managment if I was to watch my team lose and not enjoy it. When your team loses and has been losing for 7 years, it's hard to get motivated about it when the opposition is a big team and 9 times out of 10, you lose to the big team. THey say it's Any Given SUnday, but it's hard to see it when it comes around to the Bay Area. As and Giants have yet to see WOrld Series, college teams have yet to see a big bowl game, the Warriors are the Warriors, and San Jose missed out on Stanley Cup again. THere's just been too much misery in Bay Area last 10 years or so since the 49ers last won the big one, and were in a big one.
I'm afraid of getting drawn into a false hope that says the team is better, but then a year later, that 7 you roll on the dice turns into snake eyes and there goes your season. Each time my team has had an injury, the woe is me sets in and there goes our season because of that injury.
I couldn't watch every game because I like attending the Pop Warner games. I feel more relaxed. I don't feel sick when my team goes out and lets me down. I even play the Nintendo DS game because I need relaxation, and not stress. I'm at the age where I can get that heart attack, and I don't want it. I like my team, but I don't want it to be at the point where it's going to kill me one day.

Dude... Do you have any restraining orders against you from scared/angry parents?
49ers wide receiver Antonio Bryant arrested for drunken driving
KIM CURTIS
Associated Press
SAN MATEO, Calif. - San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Antonio Bryant was arrested on reckless and drunken driving charges after his Lamborghini was seen speeding faster than 100 mph on a freeway, police said Tuesday.
Bryant, 25, was arrested Sunday night on suspicion of misdemeanor charges of reckless driving, driving under the influence and resisting arrest, police Capt. Kevin Raffaelli said.
An officer entering U.S. Highway 101 saw Bryant speed past and tried unsuccessfully to catch him, Raffaelli said. He radioed another officer who pulled over Bryant.
Bryant showed "signs and symptoms" of being drunk, Raffaelli said, and he was uncooperative, combative and verbally abusive. He refused to step out of the car, he said.
The officers were forced to use leather restraints to put Bryant in a seated position with his legs straight and his hands cuffed behind his back, Raffaelli said.
His unidentified male passenger was not involved in the incident.
Bryant was booked into the San Mateo County jail early Monday morning and released a few hours later on his own recognizance. He's scheduled to appear in court Dec. 28, according to San Mateo County sheriff's Lt. Lisa Williams.
Aaron Salkin, a spokesman for the 49ers, said the team was aware of the arrest, but refused to comment further.[/b]
