Wait...so Alex Smith has 2 average games and all of a sudden he doesnt suck/is great?

Read the old thread... Then compare it to how Alex is playing now. Actually just read my first post on that page. I pretty much hit the nail on the head. I laid out the reasons for Alex's problems last year and most people said "blah blah blah, excuses"

But they never actually watched Alex play and progress last year, didn't know what he was or better yet wasn't working with, etc.

Just a bunch of morons who look at box scores and make proclimations like they are Vince Lombardi.

Im too lazy to read the thread, but although he hasnt had a lot of support, hes got like 4 TDs in 18 games played or whatever, having 2 average weeks is no reason to start a thread about how hes not a bust

Smith is progressing and getting and better, which is what you to see in a young QB. To call him a bust this early is premature since all rookie QB's struggle. If you do so your basically calling every QB fresh out of college a bust, until he proves himself.

Does it really surprise you that dbo doesn't know what he's talking about?

Keep in mind, this is the same guy that said Reggie Bush will be a scrub and then disappeared when Bush dropped 140+ combined on 25 total touches against the Stains in Week 1.

Feel good because hes look very good 2 weeks this season. That being said, I still remember last season clearly. Hes going to have to play good for more than 2 weeks before Ill forget that. But, wow, hes looked good thus far.

I've always maintained the philosophy of "He sucks until he proves otherwise." Right now he's starting to prove otherwise. But I'm not sold on him until he does this for a whole season.

Rack the Niners. Rams 0-3 in the last three games vs. the Niners.

Thus far, all 3 Ram games have been decided by Ram injuries. THat's not a legit game when you beat an injured losing team. The nos. by Smith are good, but those are Raven like numbers, and we don't even come close to having a Raven like D.

I hope my man VErnon Davis catches some balls soon. mike Nolan was WRONG in thinking he shouldn't use his Tight End. I don't know how he said, but he made it like when a TE doesn't catch a ball, he just did his job. AT what? A TE to me should have at least 3 catches a game.
