He is a complete shell of the player he used to be. It's sad really. I loved the guy. The first few years with us he was playing at a pro-bowl level... Both in coverage and against the run. He was awesome.
He has had some major injury problems and then coming back this year he just wasn't the same player. Terrible in coverage, takes bad angles, can't tackle.
I do hope a change of scenery does him some good but it wasn't like he got benched AND made inactive because we are loaded at safety. I mean Mark Roman beat him out.
he has certainly regressed, but i would love to sign him, right now our backup FS is oliver celestin, ya i know, i dont know who he is either (no not really i know them all), but my point is Parrish would certainly upgrade our depth and leadership
