KNBR was claiming John York is stepping down and Jed York is taking over...but Chronicle says he's not going to do that yet. Will we ever get rid of this moron as our owner. I wish Goodall would step in and declare York to sell the team.

I'm curious...if the 49ers are such a bad investment, isn't it logical to sell? Yorks to me have to be buying 30,000 seats a week to keep us on TV for can all 31 teams that have done lousy at some time been on TV for 25 years? So far, I heard Raiders, Rams, Falcons, Saints have blacked out this year, and Miami probably. Who can exactly persuade a team's owner to sell the team for the good and sanity of its fans? I'm really hoping I can get on KNBR and ask for a local blackout on the Bucs game.
