Nate Clements Last Year Voided, Real Contract Inside

The final season on 49ers CB Nate Clements' eight-year, $80 million contract has voided.
Clements would basically had to have spent his first season with the Niners on injured reserve to have avoided losing 2014. The deal was always meant to be for seven years and $64.02 million. Clements did debut strong for San Francisco, picking off four passes, defending 14, and forcing three fumbles.
