I have always somewhat been a fan of theirs, but never really got into football until the 2001-2002 season.

Why did you become a 49ers fan?
I really have no idea; they were one of the better teams in the mid-90s or so, and I just started rooting for them.

Why did you become a 49ers fan? All of the other local kids were Raider fans, and I was watching TV one Sunday, and thought 'Wait a minute, what about these other guys? They seem to try harder'.

Best moment as a 49ers fan? Attending the 1981 NFC Championship. Lower reserved, section 15. We were a long way from The Catch, but saw it all unfold. And the Dallas rooting section was just in front of us, just sitting there like rocks.

Least favorite moment as a 49ers fan? Losing the 1990 NFC Championship to the Giants and that idiot Parcells. Who loved to crow about "finesse teams" he beat the Niners but was all but invisible when we beat him.
