Thumbs up big signing

the niners are able to keep Derek M. Smith. This is huge for a team that will probably lose both Julian Peterson and Andre Carter.

That definitely made me happy. He was a must sign, nice to see some athletes put the team before themselves, he could have easily gone elsewhere for more money.

Me persoally, I would like to see what Lavar Arrington would cost. THat guy is a bit of a head case and not always positionally sound, but he is a solid talent.

supposedly, Lavar wants to stay in the NFC east but not go to dallas and the giants can't afford him, so it looks like arrington could be an eagle.

It is a shame that San Fran is losing two of their best talents when they have so many holes to fill

I expected more moves from them to better themselves, but that's not happening. Their biggest move was losing Lloyd so far. C'mon Niners, get it together.

From what I am hearing, Peterson may actually still be avaliable. Seems he has not visited one team yet. I would be happy if they can re-sign him.

On another note, I think trading Lloyd for the 2 picks (should be a good draft for middle rounders this year) and getting Bryant was a good deal. Hopefully the guy can mature and develop into a dependable #1 for them, we shall see.
