I dont know how much the posion pills will affect anything they are only good for RFA or players with the transition tag. There has not been that much movement in those players. Granted this might start but if it gets out of hand I think the NFL would but an end to it.

i don't think the posion pills are that bad. I like that teams are coming up with new ways to sign free agents that they must have.

I actually like them in the NFL, these restricted FA's almost never get signed and this will at least give guys a chance to roll, I'm sure all the RFA's are happy about it and I don't mind them. This one with Beurlson actually made me laugh though As far as the NBA goes poison pills really don't have anything to do with it, their CBA is just awful and every contract is guaranteed, that's why I didn't want the NFL to guarantee their contracts.
