O no, he has jus gotten the Seahawks on the radar about three years ago... and he is mad about the SuperBowl loss, so he is ready to avenge it.

not sure where you got information but he has been to 3 superbowls and only won one. He won in 96 against new england, lost in 97 to denver and lost last year to Pitt. he is 138-86 and 11-9 in the playoffs. He has only had double digit wins in 6 of 14 seasons coaching. Andy Reid already has 5 in 7 seasons. I would hardly put him in the best all time.

that was also counting the time he was an assistant head coach for san fran, you can't count that as his stats, those are bill walsh's and george siefert, even george owes that to bill walsh. He has only won double digits on his own 6 times in 14 seasons. If you add assistant coaching stats then steve mariucci looks like a genious, LOL.

Ok yeh I should have known better. However in the first year he took the Seattle job, he made the playoffs. And he won AT LEAST one game in five consecutive post-seasons. I think he should still be considered as one of the greats. Thats an impressive record he has.

his record is alright, and that five years in a row thing is nice, I just don't think he is with the all time greats yet.

i agree holmgren is one of the best coaches if not the best in the NFL today. the seahawks r very lucky that they he took the contract extension cuz he could possible lead these guys 2 another super bowl while he is wit this team.

Boo Hoo does Matt Pancake Hasselback want his wittle diaper changed. Now he is crying about the officiating, what's next? Shoes were too tight, the camera's flash distracted you? Hey let's blame the ref for Matt not scoring in the second or fourth quarter. How about that interception, the ref must have picked the player up on his shoulders and dropped him off in the passing route. And while the ball was getting intercepted the ref held the intended receiver by the fask mask. COMN' GIVE ME A BREAK Matt Hasselbuttercup.

I am done arguing about the Super Bowl so lucky you. All I will say is that someone is angry that his team got stomped by the Seahawks. Arrr, where are more Seahawk fans, I can't be the only one here who has to straighten out guys like you. Also, this thread was about Holmgren not Hasselbeck. Just letteng you know.
