Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch followed the playbook Friday, issuing a statement regarding his drunk driving arrest.

“I want to apologize to my family, the Seattle Seahawks, the NFL and the 12th Man for the negative attention resulting from my recent actions,” Lynch said in the statement. “This is not the type of community leader I have been over the last two years or the one I’m striving to become. I want to assure everyone that I will work to be better and look forward to a very exciting, and very successful season with the Seattle Seahawks.”

Lynch was arrested early on Saturday morning in his hometown of Oakland, Calif., and DUI charges were filed Wednesday. His arraignment is scheduled for August 14.

Man... This guy's an idiot!

Don't get me wrong, I thought that perhaps it wasn't a proper fit in Buffalo for him and was excited once he started going Beastmode in Seattle... This is now what? The Third/Fourth time he's been busted on a DUI! He's going to get himself kicked out of the league.

Yeah I know, that's what I was talking about with the guys at work. He makes millions, you can't hire a driver? So stupid
