That is incorrect. Burleson barely played WR. Hacket was actually more productive and consistent then Branch and Burleson. Hacket was the Hawks best WR last season because DJack got injured.
Being the best WR and having the best numbers are two different things. Branch was in double coverage the minute he set foot on the team, and Burleson (when he wasn't returning kicks) wasn't able to get open at all. Add a Jackson injury, complete lack of backfield, and a quarterback famous for not taking risks, and look who gets the ball: the one guy on the field the defense didn't see as a threat (Hackett). If you're going to tell me Hackett is any better than a five-wide slot option, you don't know your own team. He just happened to be the one who got open when everyone else was hurt or in triple coverage, kinda like KR the KR was for us before his suspension.

You are somewhat correct but you obviously have not watached Hackett play enough. He was a hidden gem last year. I mean, there are plenty of teams with lesser known guys who dont play like Hacket did and they are in the same situation as Hackett. I see what you're saying but you need to give Hacket more props.
I hate D. Jackson, I would take another 7th frickin rounder over him, he is old, doesn't have great hands, and has the clutch dropsies, which are all things the Saints DO NOT need. He may be a decent receiver but the Saints have 3-4 of those guys on the roster already, all of which are younger and have the potential to outgrow what DJ is, the only way I would take him is if they cut him.
I am a little curious why the Saints would be interested in him.
Maybe they think he can replace Horn. If that's the case, they'd have done better keeping Stallworth. No one knows how to drop a pass like a Seattle WR (or TE for that matter). Besides, isn't Charles Rogers available? The Saints could get both Rogers and Jerramy Stevens without having to trade anything away. Hey, they were first round picks, right?? If anyone should trade for Jackson, it's Atlanta or Denver. Teams that don't pass enough for it to matter.

It must suck knowing you've picked a bust within 2-3 years of making the pick. Or, even sooner.
"Tell the Commish that we're going with Williams.....Wait...Wait! Wait a minute come back!"
"I already told him."
"Oh God...Reggie Bush declared didn't he?.......... "

In the Texans' defense, they thought they were set in the RB department with DD and Morency. Losing them both and having to be the only team ever to call Ron Dayne a starter wasn't even thought of on draft day. So they looked at the things they did need, which were an OL and a defense, and picked the best player available for that. Williams may not be able to turn a team around by himself (neither is Bush though), but it's still way too soon to really call him a bust. With the additions they have made in FA, with Schaub under center, and with another decent draft, Houston should be a respectable team this season.
In the defense of Matt Millen and Paul Allen.. Well, there's not really anything I can say.

Oh by no means will i call Williams a Bust. He had an okay rookie year, and he could very well be great. But granted that Houston had DD(DW? LOL), to me taking Bush would have opened up their offense to the point that the offensive line would have improved just from a drop in pressure.
Meh, I dunno..shoulda woulda coulda. In the end i suppose that my argument just boils down to taking a once a decade player like Bush over your other needs, especially considering how many touches he can get.
