Default Carr to Visit Seahawks

Seattle definitely needs some kind of backup, wallace can not get it done.

Agreed, Wallace is a mini-Vick whose only notable highlight thus far was when he lined up as a receiver. Carr, with the line and offense Seattle has, could be a LOT better than he ever was in Houston, and could in a year or two even potentially challenge Hasselbeck for the starting position.

One thing that CArr needs to learn is to trust his receivers and let go of the ball. He spent so much time early in his career dancing around, he tends to hold the ball a little long.

True. Remember Holmgren was originally a QB coach though, and Mora's in Seattle now as well. It would be a great opportunity for him to work on his timing, release, and whatever else. Besides that, if you play in Seattle, you can afford to hold onto the ball for a little bit. If you play in Houston, you're lucky to get the full three steps LOL.

I would have really liked it if Carr had come to Seattle. Then we could put our best athlete, Seneca, on the field at WR. Well, we didnt get Carr so eh.

Also, you guys are wrong about Seneca. Did you watch him play when Matt was injured last season. He was better then Vick for sure. He always looked to pass unless the play broke down. He played just like a regular QB just that when he did run he would go for 30 yards. They didnt make plays for Seneca to run, he just ran when the play broke down. This stratedgy worked very well. Seneca's problems were making some bad decisions with forcing throws or not looking off the safety etc... Rookie mistakes. Seneca will be a good QB when he replaces Matt.

I really don't think Seneca can ever replace Matt. I agree with your first statement, he's a great WR. Too bad you lost out on Carr, he would have been a great fit. Look for Seattle to go QB in the 3rd or 4th round this year.
Also.. Yes, I did see Seneca play last year twice, and I was not impressed at all. The SF game especially was a total disaster. The kid can throw, but he really needs to work on pocket presence and decision making. I'll give you that he looks better than Vick, but so do most NFL backups...

Ahahahaha. That last line was hilarous. And true. Lol.

Well, I believe that as Seneca plays more he can become a good QB. The SF was horrible but I saw some good things from Seneca in other games. He made some big throws, and some big runs for that matter. I dont believe he will ever be a star but as long as he gets more practice I am cofident he will be able to keep the Hawks afloat if Matt gets injured. I dont really know if Seneca will be the guy to replace Matt in the future. It all depends on how long Matt plays. Anyway, I like Seneca so I'm kinda bias but I do think Seneca can be a pretty good QB.
