The Hawks cut former first rounder Kelly Herndon. He had a 76 yard interception return in super bowl 40 and had 67 tackles in 16 games in 06'. He injured his ankle at the end of last season and was part of secondary that gave up alot of big play passes last year. Kelly Jennings (who is much better) will take over the starting posistion. The Hawks also drafted CB Josh Wilson in this years draft and while he may be small, only 5'9", he is very fast and should very much help the Hawks weak deep pass defense.
I like Herndon for the most part but I trust the Seahawks orginization and believe that if they let Herndon go it was for the best. I wonder what team will pick him up?
