Default Jerramy Stevens injured

CHENEY, Wash. - Seattle Seahawks tight end Jerramy Stevens injured his left knee Thursday during practice.

Coach Mike Holmgren said Stevens fell on the knee during a team drill. Stevens walked off the field, was examined by trainers and was taken to the locker room in on a cart. He was expected to have an MRI later Thursday.

"It was the same knee he had surgery on, so we're a little apprehensive," Holmgren said of Stevens' knee operation on April 25.

He emerged last season as a favorite target of quarterback Matt Hasselbeck on third downs and near the goal line. He had career highs of 45 receptions and five touchdowns.

Stevens sucks for being a 6-8 TE, he drops so many passes

Stevens is a decent tight end. He hasn't lived up to his potential but he has been alright. He did suck in the Super Bowl but he really does just fine in the regular season.

i think it is a big deal for Seattle. Stevens was on top of the depth chart and any time a team loses a starter it's a big deal.

If a starter had to get injured I would seriously consider Stevens. We have a solid back-up in Mili. Plus I still am trying to forgive him for the Super Bowl. Lol.

Stevens is actually pretty good. He had a horrible Super Bowl but it is sad we lost him. Whats worse is that we also lost Mili. Good thing they will be back soon enough.
