Default Seneca Wallace shows promise

Seneca Wallace has put up decent numbers in his two preseason apperences this year. In a bad game against Dallas he had 117 yards on 11/17 passing. He had no touchdowns but the whole team played like crap anyway. Against the Colts he had 99 yards on 10/15 passing. Again he had no touchdowns but the decent completion percentage is a good sign for Seahawk fans everywhere.

Seneca Wallace is another Mike Vick. He impressed me as a WR last season, but that's about all he's done so far. Like Vick, he should be playing WR, not QB.

I sure as hell hope that Seneca isn't another Michael Vick. If he is, I really hope the Seahawks orginazation moves him to WR/Kick Returner.

Holmgren has already said he would, if they had another dependable backup...

I really thought that he was bigger than 5-11, thats ideal WR size. They really should look into another backup QB.

I have been wishing for another back-up QB for the last two years. Seneca is so talented. We need to get him on the field.

well i disagree I think he will be a better QB than WR in the long run, if you look at it all the QBs coming up through Mike Holmgrens system have been backups to greats, matt to brett, senca to matt (as matt will become as great as brett) and will eventually become a great QB himself and Senca is far by the most athletic of the three so we'll see what happens, just that senca will probably be better than vick so people really need to stop comparing wallence to vick

I really dont think wallace stand a chance to be a great QB because lets face it 5-11 is really small for a QB, even smaller than vick. Bret was obviously great, dont think Hasselbeck will live up to brets SB and 3 MVPs with 40,000 yards because he'll always be labeled a system QB. Where ever Seneca ends up he probally wont play QB much because of the fact he is such a weapon. I hate saying that guys cant play something because of height, but now you do have to be reletivly tall to be an NFL QB, and thats why so many great college QBs switch to WR in the NFL. So my point is hes a great athlete, but not much hope in a QB carreer IMO.
