Default Green out for season

The Seahawks took a blow to an area where they are not deep the other day when safety Mike Green broke a bone in his left foot. He broke a bone in his left foot during an exhibition game againist San Diego. The break will require surgery and Green will be out untill next season. Green had been one of the top proformers at traning camp. The Seahawks are not deep at safety and Green was their insurance. Their insurance is now gone. Michael Boulware and Ken Hamlin are both good saftey's but they are both coming back from injury and Green was going to give them a break. Now if Hamlin or Boulware get hurt Oliver Celestin or Etric Pruitt will have to come in. Etric Pruitt is one of the big reasons Willie Parker had a 75 yard TD run in the Super Bowl. Green is the first Seahawk to get seriously injured this season.

I really don't think so. Green was not the player I wanted to get injured but it is better then Alexander, Hasselbeck, or Tatupu getting hurt.

Well as long as the Seahawks don't have several other key injuries I think they'll be ok.

Thats going to hurt, but right now i think the Seahawks defense is good enough to over come the loss.

That just makes it easier for the Rams passing game.
