Default Giants vs. Seahawks

Last years games was great. Watching last weeks Eagles vs. Giants matchup reminded me of the last time the giants and seahawks met up. This game is going to be another great one. The teams are pretty fairly matched and this should be a very tight game.

Quarterbacks - I think i might have to go with Manning over Hasselback after what he showed vs. the eagles. He was sacked a ton of times, took a ton of hits and was constantly under pressure. Despite being pressured on every play, he remained poised and was extremely accurate. He finished the game with 371 yards, 3 TD and a pick.

Running backs - I go with the Seahawks because after all Shaun Alexander was the MVP last year. Tiki is a top 5 running back in the league and is skilled all around.

Wide Recievers/Tight Ends - Is branch going to play? I'm going to have to go with the Giants here. Plax is a huge target. Toomer hasn't lost a step. I personally think shockey won't be that productive because defensive coordinators find ways to take him out of the game. The 'hawks have a roster full of mediocre talent at wr., with the exception of Branch, who might be still learning the offense.

Offensive line- I'll go with the Seahawks because of Walter Jones, despite the fact that they lost Hutchinson. The Giants line looked great vs. the Colts and then horrible vs. the Eagles. Inconsistant. I hope they show this week.

Defensive line- I'll go with the giants. Returning two probowlers in Strahan and Osi. The DT's might be weak, but we held the Eagles and Colts running games in check. Osi had 2 sacks last year on Walter Jones. Strahan and Osi have yet to step up this season. I hope they will break out this game.

Linebackers- Seahawks. I'll take peterson and tatupu over pierce and arrington.

Secondary - Seahawks. Marcus Trufant is great and kelly jennings is supposed to be pretty good, although i'm not sure if he is starting. The giants secondary was burned in the last two games, although they did play vs. McNabb and Peyton Manning. Hasselback is not nearly as good as either of them.

Special Teams - If may come down to this. Last year Feeley blew it for us, if he does that this year, i can't begin to imagine what would happen.

Thats a good comparision, tho IMO I wouldnt consider D-Jax mediocre talent. This is a tough game to call. Im gonna go with Seattle beacuse they have a good home field advantage.

I'm worried about the false starts. They killed us last year.

Feely isn't the only reason they lost. But ya, he was important. And I expect Eli to have so much trouble hearing that he won't be able to hear himself speak.

That is laughable Erik, he missed a last second FG, then 3 in OT. Feely IS the only reason lost.

He played a key role. But that is part of football. Its the same as a QB having a bad game. "Cough" Roesthlisburger "Cough". Maybe if the Giants had a good kicker like Josh Brown they would have won. But they didn't.

LOL, Feely is the only reason they lost, and "cough" i would say the same about ben having a bad game if i didnt think Carbo would jump down my throat about it. He was rusty and lost the game and the world knows it, just like the world knows the giants had the hawks beat....s*** happens

BTW its Roethlisberger
