ESPN is reporting that with the power of prayer, Shaun Alexander is saying he has no pain in his foot and expects to play this weekend against Chicago.
If he plays in that game, his 3-4 week injury will become a season-ending injury. That's how the Madden curse usually works. He would do better to sit a couple of games out, especially one involving Chicago.
Erikfootball must have made a shrine to SA! are you kidding me? i know people got faith and all through prayer but playing on a broken foot against one of the best Ds in the league? he must have been with T.O. last night. either that or he is reading all the stuff that Erik is sayin about him and he is trying to prove to Erik that he is just more than a "talented aspect" of Seattles offense. see you next year MVP!
Exactly. It's a shame, because I like the Hawks, but really. If he's that stupid, I can't feel sorry for him. Guess we'll see how Morris and Weaver can do..
News: The Tacoma News Tribune reports that Seattle RB Shaun Alexander, who was diagnosed with a broken bone in his left foot, feels like he can play in Week 4. Alexander's younger brother confirmed that his brother is crediting prayer for his speedy recovery; Alexander said his foot felt much better Tuesday and wants to undergo more tests. Earlier this week, head coach Mike Holmgren said that Alexander would miss a few weeks.
News: The Seahawks scheduled another round of CT scans for Shaun Alexander's previously diagnosed cracked bone in his left foot, the injury for which Alexander was presumed to be out for weeks. "Shaun Alexander came in (Wednesday) feeling very, very good. Kind of frisky, as a matter of fact. Told me he could play in the game," coach Mike Holmgren said. "I said, 'Wait a second. Let's take a deep breath here.' But he really believes that he is feeling good enough to play." So the Seahawks were sending Alexander for more pictures to ensure Monday's bone scans, which initially revealed a non-displaced crack, were not misread -- "and to put his mind at ease," Holmgren said. "I am pretty sure we will see that crack ... unless, you know, it's possible, it happens, pictures get misread. Then we're not going to take a chance, regardless of how good he feels. We'll take the pictures. We'll have a better idea after practice (Wednesday)."

Ahahahahahahahaha. I'm not laughing at the quality of your post or anything. Your post actually made me laugh. I didn't make a shrine to SA but maybe if I do then he will learn to fly... I doubt he will be ready to play against Chicago. Infact, I hope he doesn't. He needs to get healthy first. He is very religious and it could be messing with his head or something. I hope he is better but I doubt it. Maybe he will be back after the bye week though. That would be great!!!
