A couple? Phantom touchdowns, phantom holding calls, and a roughing call on a legitimate tackle by Hasselbeck. BS offensive interference call, even the announcers said was a touchdown.

Referees for MVP, as they completely won that game for them. Pittsburgh did not earn that Super Bowl, and I hope all of that officiating staff rots in hell for what they did.

Default mistakes?

i didn't see many mistakes from the seahawks... i watched them get robbed of any momentum they built time and time again by the officials.

the bad calls were game breakers.. took the life out of the seahawks. there is a big difference between a goal line stuff on the 1, and a TD. There is a big difference between 2nd & 20 from the 40, then 1st and goal from the 1.

they were judgement calls, and ones that broke the seahawks back.

no one was helping pitt when the bads calls were made in indy. why are you doing now. you lost cause of inexperience. but it was still a good game. for the record i agree that the halsselbeck tackle was a bad call.

I stood up for the Steelers after the Indy game. That was worse than the Super Bowl even, and I respected Pitt for outplaying both the Colts AND the officials. The cards were stacked against them on all sides, and they pulled through. I will, however, side with Seahawk fans on this one. Every single key play they had was overturned due to some inconsequential BS that they let go every other game. And then there was an obvious horse collar tackle on Alexander that wasn't even called, and the Hasselbeck hit you mentioned. I will stand up against ALL bad officiating, no matter what team it helps. And there has been PLENTY this season.

(I will say I didn't mind when they threw out the safety score in the Green Bay-Detroit game , but it was still a bad call.)

I think a lot of the confusion in the discussion about the Super Bowl, is not that the refs blew the game for the Seahawks, but rather that the officiating this year has been awful. People are throwing on the Super Bowl because it was a good example that everyone saw, but the Indy game, as well as many others had much worse calls than anything in this game...
