With all the talk about the officiating of the Super Bowl, I think something that has been overlooked is Jeremy Stevens and his actual performance in the Super Bowl. If you remember he was the one who called out the Steelers saying they wouldn't win the Super Bowl, and how if Joey Porter didn't know who he was, then he would know after the Super Bowl. Well he certainly did know who Stevens was, but not because of anything good, but instead his 4 drops. I find this pretty ironic, how he guarenteed the victory, and then comes out with 4 drops. Not much of a guarentee I guess

well he did have a touchdown, but i see your point. He was supposed to come out and show the Steelers how good he was and instead he drops more than he catches.

I really expected a better showing from Porter himself too, but we never even heard his name mentioned.

Players really need to perform and then talk smack..

To tell you the truth, I didn't expect much out of Stevens, as players rarely fufill their guarentees, I just thought it was funny that Mr. Bigshot calling out the Steelers can talk the smack, but then not back it up...

Jerramy Stevens is a trash-talking punk. Joey Porter is a trash-talking punk. Now find me 10 NFL starters that aren't. All these guys talk smack. Only a select few can back it up.
