A 1st rounder for Seattle? I wouldn't a 1st rounder for Deion, a 2nd rounder, yeah but a 1st rounder? Let's see if Deion is good or not

While i really like Branch as a WR, he is completely overrated and is not worth a #1 by any strech of the imagination

Sure hes a good player, but he has averaged less then 60 yards per start the past 4 years and has only 12 TDs in his last 40 games, is that really worth a #1?

I dont see him as being much better then Eric parker. Both are the same kinds of players, but parker is a little taller and Branch is slightly faster. Parker has put up very comparable numbers and has done it with while competing with Gates, McCardell and LT for catches

Would we even be able to get a #2 for Parker?

WWWWOOOO HOOOOOO we got another slot reveiver! Deal with that! 4 count 'em F-O-U-R slot receivers on the same team. We're gonna revulitionize the way teams play football. Four sub six footers running 4.5 40's deal with that!

Despite what the FO might tell us, i think this says alot about their faith in D-jacks knee, of course if he stays healthy we will have a real nice group of recievers. Engram is still solid but getting old, now we have a trio of the future, although an expensive one. D-jack 6 years 25 mil, Branch 6 years 39 mil, Burleson 4 years 14 mil

The seahawks are that deep at every other position on the team that they can afford to throw away a 1st rounder just like that.

Outstanding.

I think the Seahawks got ripped off. Branch, IMO, is worth a 2nd round pick at best.

Honestly, i dont think Seattle will do that well this year so im gonna laugh when New England ends up getting a good pick.

No, im not saying Seattle is a bad team. They are a good team in a terrible division, but still, they were relatively lucky last year and were relatively injury free. I think the loss of Hutchinson will hurt, Alexander, IMO, is now complacent since he got the $$$ he wanted, and its gonna be interesting to see if they stay healthy this year.

I have to admit though, they are making some serious moves to try and get a ring this year. Ashworth, Peterson, Brach, Burelson, etc.

Its gonna be a boom or bust year for them. Either it will all pay off and they get a ring, in which case the 1st round pick is worth it. Or they go through hell the way St Louis, Oakland, Carolina, and Philly did after their Superbowl losses.

I sure hope you're right. Otherwise this move is awful.
