Morris didn't play very good at all and i wouldn't want him to be starting on my team. and if you give them around seven million a year how are you going to sign anyone else?

I think it depends on what they get in return if he walks, if it's some one like a Deshaun Foster or someone of that caliber for cheaper then sure, but if it's Morris or a rookie I would at all.
While Alexander makes a lot of money he earns every bit of it, his career as a starter in already HOF and he's never missed a game so far. There's not much more you need out of a 28 year old RB then that:
1880 a 5.1 average and a record 28 TD's while basically missing what accumulated to be a game and a half is pretty amazing and hard to turn away especially not knowing what's filling his shoes. Also from what I hear the fans there love him and he's a good guy so that has to factor in as well...

I think that James will fit well into our offense and shouldn't ask for as much money.

Alexander absolutely is the center of your offense. Hasselbeck has shown that he is a pretty good quarterback "when he is needed", but that is the key phrase. Tell me one game where Hasselbeck won the game for the Seahawks without someone else stepping up. True, when Alexander got hurt Hasselbeck played good, but the whole offense played good, not just Hasselbeck. If you really don't think the reigning MVP is that important to your team, then go head and get rid of him, and see yourself not in the playoffs next year...

couldn't have said better myself, believe me i tried. Without Alaxander they won't even make the playoffs. Again believe my i know. the same thing happened when the Vikings traded Moss.

There are at least half a dozen QB's out there that could take Hasselbeck's place and be just fine. He's got the best OL there is right now, who wouldn't be successful. Alexander's a different story. He is the best because he is the best. If you let him go on account of cap space, you lose games, fans, and respect. It's beyond stupid to let the league MVP and rushing leader walk out like that. You think that arrogant bald @#$%&! is the backbone of the offense, let me spell this out for you. Seattle will make the playoffs for the next few years at least, simply because there's no one in the division who can stop them. First round byes and actual playoff wins, though, not to even mention Super Bowls, leave when Alexander does. I live in the same state you do Nova, and we've all seen what happens when the game's on Hasselbeck's shoulders, time and time again.

I won big in the Super Bowl bets, and then put them in the bank, but I just took them back out, so I could be the richest member!

There's a bank?
Oh there, I see it now. What kind of interest do you collect if you put your points in the bank?
