Man, somebody wants to blow our draft chances before the 49ers are even rebuilt. That's just sad right now, just sad. I don't see how the 49ers can win if we don't have a defense getting the QB or stopping the run. Against Arizona, we'll make Bolden and Fitzgerald look like pros once again! I do hope San Diego beats Seattle, weaker the better.
I could care less who wins the division at this point...I just don't want the niners to win any more...there's a small chance of us making the playoffs and each win by teams better or even with us just makes it worse.

Playing for draft position instead of playing to win is utterly ridiculous no matter how you try to spin it.

I"m sorry. I want to say you're right, but I can't because I fully believe it's morally wrong regardless of how you spin it. If a team has no chance for the playoffs, they should play for something right? That's the draft. Look, there hasn't been any sign of the old 49er team that I knew. The old team that could beat a Seattle team, or a Eagle team, or maybe start beating a Packer team, a good AFC team. IF the old ways cannot come back to which the NFL used to be fun for me, what is the point of watching your team play for nothing and louse up their draft picks by going to the playoffs and they're not ready. I know what it takes to be in a Superbowl, and if a team has something missing, it's not going to win. Seattle didn't win in my opinion because they had a cocky attitude with Hasselback, I see no power running with Alexander, the WRs just drop the ball, and the D couldn't stop the steel curtain or the hostile environment in Detroit. If you got nothing to play for, what's the point in trying to play and wasting my time and just do everything wrong out there? Winning may improve, but taking away our draft will hurt this time. I count 9 games next year that are considered tough, which means we might be going 4 and 12, and you want us to go to the playoffs just to get crappy selections?

This kind of thinking has no place in football. The game is for men who like to compete. If I ever hear of a team throwing a game in the NFL, I won't watch another NFL game in my life.

VDAVIS has no place talking about football so it all works out.

OK, how exactly can I tell if the 49ers are throwing a game or not if somebody is clearly not trying? At times, it seems like Raiders and Lions clearly don't want to win at all. Last year, it seemed Texans flat out quit so how do you tell if a team is trying or not? As for DHNF you involve yourself too much in this. All you are is the cheerleading rah rah bis boom bah type of fan. I rather hang out with serious fans, and you are just like Unstable in my eyes. You're not a fan. You don't want to say I disagree, you're wrong, no, with you, it's slap the insult on me. I suggest you become a San Jose Sabercat fan instead of a fan of the 49ers. Least the Sabercats learn how to win and get into playoffs.
