We got beat by the Niners twice. We've sucked as a team lately, period. But I can't figure out why. There's all sorts of excuses you can throw out there. Hasselbeck and Alexander are still less than 100%. We definetely are an offensive team and were lighting up the scoreboard before they went down. Will they get it corrected by the time the playoffs start?

The defense, on the other hand, had 2 upgrades over the offseason, and one downgrade. Yet the defense has sucked so bad you'd never guess we accomlished what we did last season. What can possibly happen to do this to a team. Getting Hamlin back having him play like a pro bowler, Julian Peterson instantly gaining stud status in Seattle. Lofa seems to be doing just fine like he was last year. Losing how we did in the Super Bowl with all those mistakes and... well... possibly a few blown calls... that has to be motive to come out stronger the next year.

What the problem is.. when cease will it?

Dont worry about the playoffs. Your team will probably lose the next 2.

Ya well welcome to the world of a Cowboys fan with the defense getting upgrades yet being disappointing.

Gee, guess Kermit the Frog must write a new song:

It's not easy being a Hawk, is it?

Maybe it's God's way of punishing your team for stealing J Peterson. you should've left the 49ers alone during the FA, I hope we pay you back by stealing one of your loser players.

Gee, no. 4 looks great: you'll limp by either Eagles or some other team with the help of bad officiating and then get your *** kicked in Chicago. That's going to make me very happy to see that from your team.

We get a division title and a playoff win, and you miss the playoffs yet still have a relatively high draft pick, how is that exciting for you? You should be rooting for us to miss the playoffs and let you in, instead you are rooting for our failure in them, you are not looking at the big picture, although that never has really been your thing

You are missing the point: One side of our team was rebuilt with the high draft choice, we need one more high draft choice to finish rebuilding. Maybe with our 6 wins and 41 million, maybe we'll finally attract some FAs and make our draft selections easier. I would rather let you have the playoffs and we take the draft.

I know, some will say to that, but I seriously mean it. I want to see you get your *** kicked in Chicago in the worse way. I want your team to resemble road kill, and then the next time you want to smack the 49ers, I'll remind you every single time of the *** kicking in Chicago, and you got kicked TWICE by the Bears!

The 49ers give me too much false hope that they turn a corner, and then BOOM, pathetic Arizona might just beat them. IF we lose and get eliminated, tell me, what was the point of trying for the playoffs if we just ****ed up our draft pick? Take away the tie breaking stuff, we'd be 8th in the 1st round.

If you have a good scouting staff you can get great value in lower rounds. Do you think that 2-3 picks higher makes that much diffrence? You schould always root for your team to end on a good note wich can carry over onto the next season.

I agree, but 6 and 22 gave me hope I didn't have last year for the team. OK, I agree that it is a gamble to think that drafting high up warrants a disaster for some teams that get 1s and 5s, but I just feel in my heart that if the new personnel can find somebody like V Davis and Manny Lawson that has helped the team somewhat, I feel one more draft like that can solidify our team. All I'm saying is between 10 and 15 has the talent that can help the team. OK in some cases, maybe that pick might not be good, but I rather give that player some opportunity to prove the doubters wrong, and maybe disciplining will also help the player get good. I feel strongly one more high drafted round can put us back in the playoffs. Didn't the 49ers have some value picks for the SUperbowl 16 victory? Did they do something like this to generate the playoff runs? They must have if they were good all the way to 1999. REgardless of what you think of the manipulating and stuff that went on, the 49ers were still a good team for we had Montana and Young, and we never cheated to get either of them. THose QBs had the talent to make our team good back then.

I want us to beat ARizona, and the playoffs would be good, but then it costs us draft picks that we need to fix our team. Do we risk a sacrifice and think that what we have on this team that is allegedly good can get better, or will they be like K Harris and be constant busts? That's why I want the pick, try for the playoffs when it really mans something. DOing this so late like this is bad for a team when a draft can solidify the missing pieces on our Dline, LB< and Secondary. Does any of this make sense to you?

That's why I rather give our playoff to the Hawks and let them get pounded for the disrespect they have shown the 49ers. The Seahawks need an *** kicking in Chicago to make me feel avenged for my team.
