Least we know what happened when Hutchinson left: Alexander and Hasselback both wound up hurt. Of course I still factor in the Madden Jinx scenario!
Besides, we used that with J Peterson and it did no good for I think teams use the Franchise Tag to try and get an extra 1st and 3rd round pick, not because they liked the player or anything. THey like the idea of extra 1st and 3rd round picks, but nobody ever gives up their pick anymore in this monopoly world of FA.
I know how the sport works. I just don't like seeing more bad luck instead of good that comes out of FA. My team loses more good players then we pick up any good ones. The ones we get are badly rated that can't run squat for WR or sack the QB.
