Shortly after the Redskins lost to the Jaguars, sources told 9SPORTS NOW that Quarterback Mark Brunell is expected to be traded to the Seattle Seahawks.

The sources, who are close to Brunell, said a trade to the Seahawks is in the works and could be completed in the next few days.

Brunell played college football at the University of Washington, and the sources say the trade would be favorable to the Redskins Quarterback.

9SPORTS NOW will stay abreast of the situation and update the status of the trade as more information becomes available.

A veteran QB for a backup. If this happens we could play Seneca at WR and then trade one of our other WR's for another draft pick or something. I dont know. What I do know is that we better not lose to much to get Brunell. Also, I never want to see him playing for long stretches of time. That means Matt (and maybe Seneca) are injured. I just really hope this trade means that Seneca's freakishly awesome physical talent can now be put to use.
