I'm pulling for him to have one more year. I hope he comes in and plays well as Jackson's spell guy. I have always liked Faulk, even when they had a rivalry with the Saints back in the day.

Even if he does come back Jackson will be the number one back so i don't think his numbers will drop that much.

Cant drop if you dont have any, Faulk needs to retire, he cant prove anything else and he cant really do anythign either, he had a good run but its time to hang up the cleates...

he might not last that long with that upright style of his, he could get injured a lot.

It's not a surprise the Rams plan to put Marshall Faulk on injured reserve because of a bad knee. But it is a shame. Faulk wants to play but he doesn't know if he can because of a knee that has been slow to recover from arthroscopic surgery. With $2 million on the line, Faulk is willing to wait out his recovery and try to give it a chance. There is a sense, though, that the Rams would make the decision. Like the Chiefs with Priest Holmes, they could place Faulk on the physically unable to perform list and give Faulk until October to get healthy. The injured reserve list would end his season, effectively ending his career. As long as the Rams don't waive him injured, Faulk would walk away with a $2 million going away present. Still, it would be nice if the Rams would give him one more chance. Faulk has earned that.

I sure would suck if Faulk had to end his career on the IR. I would agree and say the Rams should put him on the PUP list and see how he's doing mid-season.
