Second-year guard Claude Terrell, who started more than half the Rams' games last year, apparently is headed for a second round of wrist surgery and will miss the entire season.
"I think that's probably our best option at this point, because he certainly doesn't feel like he can play with the wrist as it is now," coach Scott Linehan said Sunday. "That's pretty much what we've decided we're going to do."
Linehan said three wrist specialists had recommended further surgery; the only decision remaining is choosing the doctor to do the work. "Claude's got to decide that. He's got to pick one of them and get to it," Linehan said.
Terrell, a fourth-round draft pick out of New Mexico, started 10 games at left guard last year as a rookie. He played the last five with his damaged right wrist heavily taped and braced.
