Saw Dude's story about A.exander and thought I'd share a story that happened to me last week. I was walking past Del Frisco's on 6th Ave in NYC and coming the other way was Rick Mirer.

I stop in the middle of the sidewalk and Say, holy crap...It's Rick Mirer" He seemed kind of surpirsed he was recognized.
Our exchange
RM "Umm Hi. Kind of funny. I rarely get recognized in NYC"
Duds "Ehhh...I'm kind of a NFL addict. Nice to meet you"
RM "well nice to meet you" (extending hand)
Duds "Nice to meet you too. forgive me for not shaking hands but I'm a bear fan and you ruined the end of the 20th century for me."
We both kind of laughed and he walked away.

Actually seemed like a pretty nice guy. to bad he couldn't play QB.
