Last season he was able to stay consistant and the Broncos did great.

I didn't see the entire game so the Rams D could of been that good but Jake has also shown before he can really be that bad.

Also the Rams have a shot in the NFC West anyone does, even the the Niners (might be a stretch but Alex Smith played well so it's possible). People think the Seahawks will be so great and will dominate (and maybe that is true) but last time when people were picking them to go to the Super Bowl (2004) they barely won the division.
