Hmm, who had the better day here? Steven Jackson may look like he did because of the big plays, but minus that final drive, and he has an absolute terrible day... 20 carries for 71 yards, 3.5 yards per carry.

Here, I'll take Steven Jackson's long(37) out of his total, and Tatum's(39) out of his:
Jackson: 21 carries, 84 yards -- 4 YPC
Tatum Bell: 14 carries, 64 yards -- 4.3 YPC

Who's more impressive here? None the less the fact that Mike Bell had 10 carries for 58 yards, a 5.8 YPC total. That's 6.4 YPC for our running game -- sorry, but that's some ****ty *** run defense

What I'm saying is, your defense is getting overrated because they made a few plays in a game with Jake throwing the ball, or handling the ball, and he makes these mistakes at least 3 games a year.

Also add the fact that if Javon doesn't drop a ball off of Tye Hill's helmet, he scores a TD -- 67 yards, and we might of won the game. Also add all the runs that if Tatum would of made one move, he would of went to the house numerous times to the fact... Our offense was one step, or one catch away from winning this ball game, and we turned the ball over 5 times -- and now you're saying that our defense looked solid but inconsistent? Please, we destroyed your offense(Yes we did), one of the best offenses in the league, on turf, at their house. That's definitely either a) Not saying much for your offense, or b) Saying something amazing for our defense

And going off the recent past of the Rams offense, I'll go with B) Saying something amazing for our defense

A team shouldn't win by 8 points when they have a +5 turnover differential, but yet, we were one play away -- but everytime we went inside STL territory, Jake turned it over -- if Jake doesn't turn those balls over, which were HIS fault, not your defenses, we win this game... Big.

Jake the flake is back, and your defense is wack

Maybe not wack, but overrated, at least to your standards...

Hey, what do I know? I've only been a fan longer than most of you have been alive. (Starting my 37th year as a fan). Wait a sec - I KNOW MORE THAN ALL OF YOU PUT TOGETHER!!!

Just in case you didn't know it, there's this thing called PRESEASON. What happens is, every teams plays at least 4 entire games against different teams. This give coaches and the opportunity to judge their talent and see what there teams are capable of. It's also so that the players can get into game shape.

The whole ****ing concept is that when it's time to play the first game of the REGULAR SEASON (you know, when the games actually count!) the team is READY TO PLAY. This means that there is absolutely no room for ******* comments like "It's only the first game of the season." It doesn't matter - you've had months to get ready and have no excuse whatsoever for not being ready.

The Rams won. And it was a ****ty ****ing win and will be a prelude to another ****ty season.
